Proposed scoring factors

Saving against a credible reference price.
Unit price and like-for-like pack comparison.
Available recent price history.
Source freshness and confidence.
Loyalty-card, location, delivery and eligibility conditions.
Stock and expiry confidence.

What will not buy a better score

An available affiliate commission will not directly increase a deal score. Paid placements, if introduced, will be separated and clearly labelled.

Corrections

Retail prices change quickly. Users and retailers can report errors to deals@pounddesk.co.uk. Confirmed expired or incorrect offers should be removed or corrected promptly.
