Who we are
PoundDesk is a UK deals-discovery project. For privacy enquiries, email privacy@pounddesk.co.uk. Full operator and postal details will be published before commercial launch.
Information currently processed
The preview may process basic technical information required to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. Vercel hosts the website on our behalf. Saved sample deals are stored locally in your browser and are not sent to PoundDesk.
Purposes and lawful bases
- To deliver, secure and diagnose the website, relying on legitimate interests.
- To respond when you email us, relying on legitimate interests or steps requested by you.
- To meet legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and international processing
Technical data may be processed by hosting and security providers. Where information is processed outside the UK, appropriate safeguards should be used. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Local saved-deal data remains in your browser until you clear it.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
